Greg Kun
Greg is a Hungarian-born tattoo artist and rather new to Canada. Initially pursuing a profession as an art and literature teacher, he made a career change in 2012, moving to the UK to dedicate himself to tattoo artistry. Through his journey across various tattoo shops in the Greater London area, Greg explored multiple styles before committing to black and grey realism in 2017.
He has a passion for detailed portraits, animals, scenic views, and visual storytelling, to capture both the essence and intricacies of his subjects. Greg draws significant inspiration from the great works of Renaissance and Baroque masters like Caravaggio and Velázquez, as well as the refined techniques of 19th-century artists such as Canova and Bouguereau. In his works he strives to connect traditional fine arts and decorating the human body.
