Fineline Surrealism
Vic
After graduating from the Fashion Communications program at Ryerson University, she pursued a career as a full-time graphic designer working in both fashion and digital media industries. Having spent some years working with some of the largest retailers and consumer brands, she felt that she needed a job that allowed a lot more creative freedom in her work. She happened to be residing in Milan at the time, working as a freelance graphic designer, when she came to the realization that tattooing would be the perfect fit. She knew that she had to make some drastic changes in order to make her tattooing dreams happen, and that was the moment she decided to do what it would take to turn that into reality. Needless to say, she packed up, left her graphic design job behind, moved back to Toronto, and started looking for an apprenticeship. Once she landed an apprenticeship, the rest was history. It’s been about 5 and half years now since she’s started her tattoo journey as a full-time artist and it was the best decision she has ever made. Her style would be best described or categorized as intricate, detailed, fineline, and surrealism.
